In this collection of art, short stories, and poetry, eight minds come together to create a picture that is both painful and beautiful. Neurodivergence is hard to understand at times, but perhaps looking through the goggles of another's messy mind can bring understanding and maybe a light rinse to the muck and grime.
AUTHOR’S COMMENTARY: This was a fun project!! Throughout my academic career—at least back when I was double majoring in psychology and creative writing—I was constantly reading collaborations that featured all these talented writers. And they’ve written about pretty much anything and everything! Fairy tales, Greek legends, original horror stories, absolutely fucked up tales that were disguised as children’s stories…you name it, they’ve written it! I decided I wanted to do that. And I appreciate every single one of the talented contributors who helped make this book a possibility. Why not show these lovely people some love?
